Meet the Photographer

My name is Sharon Fuente and my studio is named Lifesong Photography because I believe my creative ability is a gift from God and hence my "life song". I got my first camera at the age of 10 and I have been snapping away ever since. I spent many years as a fine art photographer before moving on to portrait photography. This is what makes my style unique.

I am proud to say that I am an award winning photographer and was named Photographer of the Year for Georgia Professional Photographers Association in 2024. I am a certified professional photographer and hold a Masters Degree from Professional Photographers of America. In 2022 I was one of 18 chosen for Team USA for the World Photographic Cup. I spend a lot of time studying different photography techniques because as a photographic print artist I strongly believe that continued education is the first key to success.  The second key is service to my clients. Every session should be well planned, creative, and stress free. The final key is  truly believing in the power of photography. Photography can heal blended families, give confidence to children and teenagers and make us smile and warm our hearts as we look back on our lives. 

I grew up in Florida and have lived in Georgia for over 25 years. I am married with three grown children, two grandchildren and a dog. When I am not working, I enjoy reading, traveling, doing volunteer work and most importantly, spending time with my family.
